I just remembered last year when I saw Cold War Kids, and their opening band was from Chicago, and there was some gentle ribbing from the lead singer regarding the Canucks and the Blackhawks. The whole crowd started yelling LUUUUUUU as soon as he mentioned Luongo, but I’m pretty sure he’d never seen a hockey game taking place in Vancouver because he thought we were booing and everyone started laughing at him. Good times?
